Meet
Hi! We’re Karin and Lorri, a daughter and mother team from right here in Broward County. As lifelong book lovers, opening an independent bookstore in our community is a dream come true.
We named Rose & Spine after the family members who first inspired our love of reading and the kinds of stories we love most. We‘re fans of everything from dark romance and horror to mystery and historical fiction, so you’ll find plenty of those on our shelves, alongside contemporary fiction, bestsellers, and a thoughtfully curated selection of complementary nonfiction.
More importantly, we want Rose & Spine to be a true community bookstore - the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again. We want to be a place to browse without feeling rushed, discover your next favorite read, and spend time with people who love books as much as we do. We’ll also host events to give readers plenty of opportunities to connect, discover, and have a little fun.
We are so excited to open an independent bookstore in our community and welcome you as soon as possible!
